Hello -- I'm a TDAmeritrade subscriber and want to use my QT privileges to get intraday data, but having trouble. I've tried everything on the help pages, including making sure the QT API socket is configured as suggested. Still nothing. What else should i try?

how can I use the CSV data for forex trading ?I selected 'CSV' as the forex data provider but I still cannot see any chart displayed on the screen,? I could be using the incorrect CSV forex symbols , where can I get the forex symbols information if using CSV data?

Athens (Greece) Stock Exchange historical data

How can I get historical data for quotes from Athens (Greece ) Stock Exchange? I am interested only in historical and not intra-day data.

I think that only Quotes.com and eSignal have data for quotes from the Athens Exchange but someone has to suscribe to their payable services.

MSN and Yahoo do not have data from the Athens Stock Exchange. Is there anyone elese free of charge provider?

Shapes are frozen after pasting to the page

I have encountered a problem where after selecting a shape and pasting it to the page, I am unable to manipulate on the page. I can right click on it to reval properties and the deletion tab, however. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled MGlider, as well as attempting to create new pages for my selected stocks.

Any suggestions?

This is a general May Day

I was obliged to reformatte my drive due to a virus. I lost all including mGlider. I have bought this about 2 years ago and I have no more the original key. i have been un able to contact Realm Software that do not appear to be listed in the Vancouver yellow pages, and that do not answer E mails.
Can anybody put me in touch with these people? if they exists .Do they have an address , a phone ?

I've tried to get my intraday charts working for about three days now. LiveCharts works by itself, but it stopped working in mGlider. There is also no longer a way to get the password from the "export" funtion in LiveCharts, as it appears to have been removed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Update 2/23/08:

It's still broken. Intraday charts are now impossible to use. It appears they have upgraded LiveCharts to a 2.0 version. The export function has been removed, so there is NO way to get the password needed to properly setup the login/password info for mGlider.

Autohide Error

I have a slight problem.

I moved my window grouping to the left side of my chart tool. So, I have a toolbar on the left with "Projects", "Watch List", "Shapes", "Time...". It's been working great like this for three weeks.

Today, however, I managed to get it stuck on autohide. Unfortunately though, autohide shows, but instantly hides. The end effect is that whatever window I roll-over expands, then contracts instantly - before I get a chance to click on or see the menu expand completely. I can't use any of the controls on the menubar. I can move the menubar. I'm in trouble here.

The underlying connection was closed: the server committed and http protocol violation.

this is for stocks that I have been using with mGlider for some time now.

Any progress on the yhoo update?

Problems Saving Data/Crashing

I've recently 'upgraded' to Vista and at first mGlider seemed to operate fine, but lately it's been crashing often. When I reload the program, my saved projects are no longer there... I then reload them from my backup files, just to have it happen all over again. I've uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Grrrr. Any insights?

This question has been asked by email enough times to make this post and outline the solution.

When mGlider downloads price data it tries to get more data than requested so that overlays and indicators are displayed without gaps. By default mGlider fetches 50 more bars. In case you use big numbers for your studies like SMA(200) or EMA(200) you are going to get visual gaps on a screen because not enough price data are pre-fetched:

To increase number of bar mGlider is pre-fetching go to "Tools/Program Options/Data Collection":

align Channel shape problem

I have a little trouble to work with the 'channel' shape.
1. First I have a difficult time to align the baseline with the selected 'points.
I assume the baseline is the broken line. if I move the shape around to have the baseline on the bottom, it gets stuck in the horizontal position. If I move it around , the baseline moves to the top. I am not sure how to work with it correct, so it will align correct with the selected points.
2. If I want more than 3 trendlines - how can i create them i.e. 0.618, 1, 1.618, 2.618
3. The trendline goes over the whole screen, can I make them shorter, in case I would like more than one section with different channel parameter.

I am trying to 'chart' the index i.e. nasdaq,dja etc.
after entering an index NDX for Nasdaq-100m or DJA for DJ30 --- best weight loss pill I receive an error message 'The remote server returned an Error'
What would be the symbol name for the various indexes.

Problems with shifting indicators as I change time windows

When I use the ellipse and time extension indicators on a longer time frame window.... and then change to a shorter time frame window to look at the details of the indicators in relation to the bars... I find that the indicators shift, diet pills and the time extension indicator not only shifts but the label changes to show another day sometimes several days later than in the original longer time frame.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug that is yet to be fixed?

Is there a work around solution?
