I have used every name/symbol I can think of ,plus ideas from the internet to get a forex chart up. I have tried EUR/USD, GBP, GREAT BRITISH POUND, CANADIAN DOLLAR, CAD, EUR/USD, EUR, EURO, EURO=,EUROUSD= AND SO ON. ALL PRODUCE THE SAME MESSAGE, "E SIGNAL CANNOT INITIALIZE. MAKE SURE...."

Let's take it one step at a time. Do you have eSignal installed on your machine where mGlider is running? If so then what version of eSignal do you have?

Regards.

In eSignal itself, are you able to see Forex graphs for different symbols (for example: "EUR A0-FX" or "EURGBP A0-FX")?

In mGlder you have to provide symbols based on naming conventions of eSinal if eSignal is used as a data provider. Here is a link for eSignal symbol look-up.

William Crocker
I can get Forex Charts on eSignal just fine.

This morning I got the EURO and CAD on Mglider using the esignal symbol convention.

That was it. Ever since I have either "invalid symbol" or error returned by remote server". Very frustrating. I selected forex and typed in the symbols correctly.

Please advise
